Volunteer with Starlight! Show your support for Starlight and help make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children by volunteering for one of our events or activities. We are accepting volunteer applications from both individuals as well as groups.

Your group can volunteer at an event. We always need lots of smiling faces and people willing to share hugs!
You can help sponsor an event. Sponsorships allow us to invite more families. Your group could raise funds to purchase tickets for an event, purchase food for an event, provide items for goodie bags or provide some type of special entertainment for an event.
Perhaps your group would like to put on an event. Arrange a sports camp day or cheerleader camp day or craft day or a big picnic.

To get involved with Starlight, mail us the volunteer form, background check form, and a $15 proccessing fee (for background check).

Donated goods and services allow Starlight to maximize the percentage of our budget that goes directly to program delivery. Currently, we are able to allocate $.79 of every $1 to programs that serve children and families.

In recent years, Starlight has been very successful in attracting a wide variety of in-kind goods and services, a track record which has helped us earn approval as a member of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance.

In-kind donations also help us keep our office, programs and events running smoothly. Donors receive a tax receipt for the value of their gift and recognition in our annual report. Call 310.479.1212 for more information.

With gifts from Starlight, share that loving spirit with seriously ill children and their families. Any gift benefiting Starlight is sure to warm the recipient’s heart knowing that the gift is also brightening the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
