Microsoft released a new 'game' that runs on xbox that lets kids create games from scratch using only the joystick. Personally I think programming is a fantastic skill to have and this is a great intro. The concepts taught really help give you a good framework for thinking about the world in a logical way.

'White Flight' in social networking
- Posted on 07.07.09
Check this out:
Speaking at this week’s Personal Democracy Forum in New York, boyd said that even among people with access to the Net, long-held social divisions of race, class, and income are beginning to play out online, particularly among teens now choosing which social network they prefer, MySpace or Facebook. “Social media don’t eradicate social divisions,” says boyd, an expert in NextGen behaviors for Microsoft and a senior fellow at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society. “[Social media are] making the old social divisions obvious in totally new ways.”

Google Wave and Voice Processing
- Posted on 06.04.09
Google Wave - fantastic. If it can correct spelling by using the entire internet as a language model, I see no reason it can't do voice to text, ultimately as well as, or better than a human. You should be able to speak directly into a Wave and have it converted to text as you speak. Even average voice recognition, when combined with Spell-y, should be excellent. This is today's technology! Very exciting.

Today I received Tesla Founders Series Roadster #27... I'm really thrilled to be an investor in this company, and proud of Elon Musk for bringing his crazy (smart) dream to fruition. I'll upload picture of mine once I get a chance to take one.
I've been blissfully busy launching Causecast, my own crazy dream. I could not have done it without my crazy (smart, energetic and competent) team. I'm proud of you guys!
